Meet the Team
Melissa is our Financial Coordinator, Treatment Coordinator and Office Manager. She has been a valued member of our team since 2007. She graduated from Florida State University in 2003 with dual degrees in risk management/insurance and finance. Melissa enjoys baking, spending time with her husband Jeff, children Emily, Austin and Bentley, her Shih Tzu, Tyson and visiting family as often as she can. She is a proud aunt of five, one niece and four nephews, including the most recent addition of identical twins.
Cindy is one of our certified Orthodontic Assistants, as well as our lab technician. In our in-house lab, she manufactures our patients' retainers - most of which are ready the next day! She has enjoyed working as a valued member of our team since December of 1991. When she isn't in the office, our resident "farm-girl" enjoys fishing and diving as well as just about any water sport. On her family's South Georgia ranch, she raises beef cattle, chickens, and hay with the help of her three brilliant and sometimes well‐behaved Australian Shepherds.
Kimberly joined our team in June of 2008. She loves being a certified Orthodontic Assistant and could not imagine working in any other field. Kimberly has been married to Jayson since April of 2007 and they have one precious son named Jayce. In her off time, she enjoys shopping and spending time with friends and family. When she isn't home relaxing with her boys and her Shih Tzu, Gizmo, you'll find her headed to the beach!
Pepper, one of our wonderful Orthodontic Assistants, graduated from Flagler College in May of 2006 with a degree in business. She joined the team in April of 2002 and is certified in Orthodontic Assisting and Dental Radiology. She and her husband Kenner married in 2007, have two sons named, Chase and Justin, and a daughter named Paige. The family enjoys spending time together outside here in beautiful Tallahassee ‐ boating, rooting for the Seminoles, and spoiling their rescue dog, Camry.
Kitty has been an Orthodontic Assistant on our team since May of 1989. She has earned her certification in both Orthodontic Assisting and Dental Radiology. Kitty married John Jenkins in April 2006 and has two stepdaughters, Emily and Elise. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her Boxer, Bella, designing and handcrafting beautiful jewelry, painting, cooking, reading, and planning her next trip to some exciting new locale!
Our Growth and Development Coordinator, Sheila has been a member of our team since August of 1992. She married her high school sweetheart, Buddy in 1971 and together they have one son, Chad, a daughter‐in‐law, Amanda and are the proud grandparents of grandson Brodie and granddaughter Bryce Avery. These days, "YaYa" divides her time between taking care of our wonderful patients, and doing her best to spoil her grandchildren. If we give her a few days off, you'll find her either at the beach, or shopping, and ideally both at the same time!
Lori is our Diagnostic Records Technician and has been a valued member of our team since October 1997. She has her certification in both Orthodontic Assisting and Dental Radiology. Lori is married to Lee, and they have a beautiful daughter named Rachel (a future nurse), plus… a grand dog named Taxi. Lori loves music, travel, boating and almost any outdoor activity, especially cycling. Her very favorite season is Autumn, and you won't find her anywhere on nice Fall weekends but riding her bike through the countryside, until winter hits!
Our Treatment Coordinator, Pam, joined the Tallahassee dental community in 1994, and became an integral part of our team in 2012. She has two grown sons, Daniel and Brandon, plus, a daughter‐in‐law named Ali. Pam loves to travel and visits her kids and extended family every opportunity she gets. On most weekends, you'll find Pam either gardening, antiquing or headed to the beach, one of her favorite places to be!
Our Marketing Director Rebecca joined us early in 2013. After earning a communication degree from The University of Alabama in 1990, she chose to make Tallahassee her home. Agency work, graphic design, art licensing and a gift shop named IVYROSE followed as she raised her two boys, Holden and Wyatt. Now, she's found the perfect place to utilize all of her talents! When she isn't in the office, you'll find her traveling the southeast to crew regattas (her boys' sport) with her husband Kye, and her beautiful Australian Shepherd, "India."
Likely the first smiling face you'll see upon entering our office, Jennifer joined our team in 2013. She has a warm personality, great sense of humor, and lives her life by the "Golden Rule." She loves seeing the results of orthodontistry in the bright beautiful smiles of our fantastic patients. Jennifer spends her time away from the office fishing, swimming, and enjoying our beautiful Florida beaches with her husband Nathan, their young son Mason, and dog Buddha.
